The National Core Indicators, has recently released a user-friendly version of the Child Family Survey Report and other family reports.  This version of the report provides easy to understand explanations with visual aids, such as infographics and graphs, for each indicator.  This report will be of value for providers who want to communicate Virginia’s results with their clients and communities.

The family indicators address how well the public system assists children and adults with developmental disabilities, and their families, to exercise choice and control in their decision-making, participate in their communities, and maintain family relationships. Additional indicators probe how satisfied families are with services and supports they receive, and how supports have affected their lives. (NCI)
